PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide)
PDRN is a DNA-fragment complex known to activate A₂A adenosine receptors, promoting fibroblast proliferation, angiogenesis, and extracellular-matrix (ECM) repair. Clinical and preclinical literature in dermatology reports improvements in wound healing, texture, elasticity, and photoaged skin when polynucleotides/PDRN are used, with a favorable safety profile. In Korea, PDRN is widely known as the “salmon injection” (연어주사) and is the most commonly used skin booster ingredient in clinics.
